The School Psychologist will have the primary responsibilty for providing appropriate psychological services to exceptional and thought-to-be students within Jim Thorpe Area School District.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or an acceptable equivalent.
Certification:
active and valid Teaching Certificate issued by the Commonwealth of PA for the assignment or position.
Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to evaluat, counsel and work with students, parents and staff.
Ability to adhere to mandated timelines in providing services to students and families.
Ability to deal with a variety of situations and personalities.
